Frequently asked questions
All sessions require a non-refundable retainer of $50 or $100 (depending on your requested session) at the time of booking. Please view packages under the "Booking Online" tab for more details on non-refundable retainer fees per session. Retainer fee will be deducted from total invoice. All remaining payments must be paid 48hrs prior to session.
We understand that sometimes plans change, so we have a flexible reschedule/cancellation policy. Should Client cancel prior to 48hrs, client has a 5-day grace period from original cancelled/rescheduled date to utilize transferrable retainer. In the event the Client cancels or reschedules the Photography Session with LESS THAN 48 hrs notice, the Photographer will retain the non-refundable retainer without a retainer transferable option. Should Client cancel prior to the Photographer’s completion of any work, client will NOT be due any refund of funds already paid. Future payments will be cancelled. Kiara Atkins of Kei’s Point of View Photography reserves the right to cancel the Photography Session due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to inclement weather, illness, emergency, or any other conditions which the Photographer deems may adversely affect the quality of the Photography Session. In the event Kiara Atkins of Kei’s Point of View Photography cancels the scheduled session, the funds already paid will be applied to a rescheduled session that is agreed-upon by the parties if applicable or 100% of already paid funds will be refunded.
We are based out of Winston Salem,NC with studio access in Greensboro, NC. Yes, there is a travel fee of $0.69/mile TO and FROM any location outside of Winston Salem, NC for destination sessions (parks, museums, hotels, etc). Plus any additional necessary traveling fees such as parking deck/street meter or photography vendor fees that may apply.
We take great care to ensure that each photo is edited and retouched to perfection. Expect PROOF GALLERY within 72 hrs after scheduled session. Depending on the season of your session and the number of photos selected to be edited, you can expect to receive your photos within 2-4 weeks of your selection date. We aim to have your high resolution photos complete before expected;) We'll provide you with a google drive folder with access to your high resolution photos. Clients also have the option to purchase additional edits for $10 per photo.
Props such as chairs (excluding throne chairs), benches, stools, posing boxes, and plants/flowers are included in clients sessions. However, customized sessions with customized/themed backdrops will require an add on fee of a starting rate of $50 for props, backdrop, and balloons depending on the requested theme. Or clients have the option to provide their own props.
Clients have permission to use use images included in package provided and additional purchased images for personal use. Copyright is retained by the photographer at all times. We kindly ask that no image be copied, scanned, or reproduced in any form whatsoever without the prior consent of Kei's Point of View Photography & More. (This includes proofing gallery, screenshot, saving, and downloading from any social media site or website).
